There are many success stories of trainees who have gone on to senior and high-profile roles in the company. In fact, the current managing director of Education was a trainee back in 1971!
The programme starts with a schedule of activities designed to build on existing experiences, after which you will follow a structured programme combining workshops, self study, on- and off-the-job training and assignments. Assessment is ongoing: you will enjoy attentive support, mentoring and regular progress checks with your manager with weekly objectives, bi-monthly review sessions and quarterly progress reviews including formal presentations.
At any level, you'll need to be a motivated and innovative thinker with the broad commercial acumen and people management skills to achieve excellence. A positive attitude, real enthusiasm and a commitment to your own development will also be important. You'll be measured against our management competencies during the programme, which will ensure that you have the right skills, behaviours and knowledge to progress.
